๐ถ How I Made a Realistic Pomeranian Sculpture from Wool (Needle Felting Art)
There’s something magical about turning soft wool into a lifelike little dog that fits in the palm of your hand. In today’s post, I want to share the story behind my latest needle-felted sculpture — a fluffy black and white Pomeranian that looks like it’s about to bark or wag its tail! ✨ Inspiration Behind This Piece I’ve always loved Pomeranians for their cheerful expressions and tiny, cloud-like bodies. Their personalities are big, even though they’re small in size! When a client sent me photos of her adorable Pomeranian, I knew this would be a fun challenge — especially capturing the unique black and white pattern and that cute little pink tongue. ๐งถ Materials I Used To make this sculpture, I used: 100% natural wool in white and black Felting needles (sizes 36 and 38) A small piece of wire for internal structure (to keep the legs steady) A bit of pink wool for the tongue Patience — lots of it! ๐ Needle felting is a slow, meditative process.
